For the past couple of years I’ve been studying for my Master in Strategic People Management, on a part-time basis. This is through the UNSW Canberra and I am very much enjoying the study.

I’ve decided to upload some of my papers that deal with the issues of inclusion and diversity and I welcome comments on the topics and issues I raise in these papers.

Not quite set up just yet

Hi and thanks for dropping by my new website where I’m going to be writing about a range of People topics including Culture, Leadership, Diversity and Inclusion, Cyber, and Risk and Governance.

Wondering where the term ‘People Geek’ comes from? Well I stole that from Culture Amp:

People Geek

Someone who is dedicated to enabling people and passionate about the power of employee feedback.

I don’t usually use the word ‘passionate’ about anything I do – I think it is a bit overused nowadays but the first part of that definition really resonated with me. When I look back over my working life that’s ultimately what I’ve been doing – enabling people to do their best.

I know there’s not much (at all!) on the website at the moment, but if you sign up in the newsletter box, once I do start writing those articles will be sent directly to your inbox. Don’t worry I’m not selling anything – no courses, books or consulting services.

I just want to start conversations about People stuff from a Corporate Governance perspective, and hopefully you do too!

I am looking to invest my energies and skills as a Non Executive Director on a board that is keen to leverage the opportunities diversity and inclusivity will bring them.
